Well I pushed through to Revelstoke last night. Took the ferry across what I thought was a lake but was the Columbia River from Galena Bay to Shelter Bay, beautiful view. The ride from Kaslo to New Denver was breath taking, winding along side a creek/small river all the way with curves left and right. The 49 KM ride from Shelter Bay to Revelstoke was the highest population of mosquitos my face shield has ever seen, it was insane. Went to the Revelstoke dam and toured, VERY big and impresive.

Made my way down to Sicamous and then to Vernon to stay with a friend. The temperature rose higher and higher the closer to Vernon I came. Dipped my toes in the lake and hid in the shade. We took a very senic ride east to Lumby to a great hidden gem of a restaurant and then meandered back home in the darkness. I find it so enjoyable riding at night, nothing but your headlight to lighten the darkness. Staring at the warm green glow of your gauges and the road ahead. It's really quite awinspiring. Not sure where I'm going tomorrow other than avoiding any time in Kamloops, 36 Celcius....yikes!!
Hey Rob,
